Description
Large Metal Copper/Rose Gold finish with Ornate Halo
Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Statue with Full Aureole | Consecrated 2026
Resplendent in warm copper and gold, this exceptional statue is distinguished by its elaborate flaming aureole, a full body halo of scrolling acanthus and jewel motifs that frame the bodhisattva. The face is serene and finely detailed, the robes intricately worked with traditional scroll patterns, and the lotus throne rises in layered petals.
Ksitigarbha is depicted here in his classic form, seated in meditative equipoise, hands resting in dhyana mudra, embodying the vow he has held across immeasurable kalpas, to remain until the last being is liberated from the lower realms. This statue would sit well at the centre of a home shrine or dedicated practice space.
Consecrated April 4, 2026, Qingming Festival, during the Ksitigarbha Blessing Empowerment and Puja at Dzokden Rimé Institute Melbourne, presided over by Shar Khentrul Rinpoché Jamphel Lodrö.
