Description
Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva - Small Coloured Statue - Jewelled Lotus Base | Consecrated April 2026
Ksitigarbha is depicted here in his most recognisable form, crowned and richly robed, seated atop a jewelled lotus base set with stones in blue, green, and gold, this statue captures the warmth and accessibility that has made Ksitigarbha one of the most widely beloved bodhisattvas across all traditions of Mahayana Buddhism, whose vow is one of inexhaustible compassion toward those who suffer most.
The statue was blessed at the same empowerment as its larger companions the 2026 Ksitigarbha Blessing Empowerment and Puja, bestowed by Shar Khentrul Rinpoché Jamphel Lodrö on April 4, 2026, coinciding with Qingming Festival at Dzokden Rime Institute.
